Anchor Boys
Anchor Boys are the youngest members of the Boys' Brigade organisation. We meet on Wednesdays from 6.05-7.10pm in the Cathedral Halls are we warmly welcome boys in P1-P3. Please note boys must have attained their 5th birthday before joining.
Our weekly programme is filled with fun! It normally consists of a welcome/warm-up activity, games, a bible story or theme running throughout the evening, an art/craft task that the boys can take home, some music or drama and a closing prayer.
We have lots of special events throughout the year such as our Superhero Party, Christmas Craft night, sponsored walk, Battalion Fun Day and lots more. This session, we have been doing lots of activities about the sea, including a visit to Deep Sea World, a talk from the RNLI, a visit from an oilrig worker and lots of games, crafts and songs with a marine theme.
When boys have 'graduated' Anchor Boys, they move up to Junior Section.
