Leighton Room
The Leighton Room within the Cathedral Halls is available as a resource for groups and organisations within the community as well as the Congregation. Bookings can be made online, or via the Cathedral Administrator.
The Leighton Room sits above both the Ritchie Room and the Helen Lamb Room, with a conical pine roof above the octagonal section of the room and affording spectacular views from its windows.
Bishop Leighton (Bishop of Dunblane 1662-71) had his name given to this room with its fine views because he showed great vision at a time of religious strife in Scotland between episcopacy and presbyterianism.
There is a stairlift providing access to the Leighton Room. Internet access via wireless is available upon request when booking the hall. Also available is a portable PA system and portable loop system, if required.
