Main Hall

The Main Hall within the Cathedral Halls is available as a resource for groups and organisations within the community as well as the Congregation. Bookings can be made online, or via the Cathedral Administrator.

The main Cathedral Hall has a stage, fixed sound amplification and loop-induction system and piano making it a popular venue for concerts.  The main hall also has wireless internet access. A portable PA system with radio mics is also available, if preferred. 

At one side of the main Cathedral Hall, with opening partitions to it for flexible use, is the Cockburn Lounge used for serving coffees to visitors throughout the year and as a display area, named in memory of the Very Rev Dr J Hutchison Cockburn who occupied the Cathedral pulpit with such distinction.  

The Hall is served by a well-equipped kitchen.
