The Arts Guild is delighted to welcome Cadenza back to Dunblane Cathedral. Cadenza is a mixed voice chamber choir based in Edinburgh but attracting members from a wide area, such are its appeal and reputation. It has been recognised for its high standards and quality of performance for some 30 years and for over 20 of those Jenny Summerling has been its musical director. The choir’s repertoire ranges from the Renaissance to the present and it has been proud to have commissioned several new works. Cadenza performs regularly at the Fringe, presenting a major choral work, and enjoys an annual Christmas concert and concerts for charity. These have taken the choir around Scotland and beyond, its programmes and CDs covering a wide variety of styles: sacred, secular, folk and jazz, and received with critical acclaim. The programme for Dunblane includes classics of sacred music, traditional Scots songs and jazz standards.
Please note that the concert is in the evening starting at 7pm. There are no tickets on sale but the Arts Guild will be grateful for donations at the door.
